Providing a professional service to facilitate the grazing and management of ecologically sensitive and sustainably managed sites in the Chiltern Hills and beyond. 

We undertake all aspects of managing land for conservation or sustainable use, from securing funding to selling the produce. We can conduct the entire management programme or assist with any part of it, including:

  • Fencing (electrical and permanent)
  • Fence training; installation and maintenance
  • Grazing animal provision and water supply (both permanent and by bowser)
  • Stock-watcher training
  • Animal movements
  • Sheep shearing
  • Scrub clearance and bracken control
  • Hay making; traditional bales from small areas
  • Tree felling and mobile sawmilling
  • Wild flower and grass seed provision and wild flower meadow restoration
  • Hedge planting
  • Flail mower collecting and Topping
  • Pond creation and restoration
  • Vermin control
  • Grant applications
  • Presentations
  • Common-land consultancy
  • Ecological surveys including Farm Environment Plans (FEPs)

All additional mechanical field work can be undertaken by a separate contractor who works closely with us, including ploughing, rolling, drilling etc.
